The New Hampshire RTAP provides training programs at designated host locations to further the development of
skills and abilities for persons involved in providing transit service to rural and small urban areas. If you are
interested in scheduling drivers to attend a training class, please contact the New Hampshire RTAP staff to
discuss training opportunities available.

Available training programs include:

  • Passenger Assistance Techniques (PAT)

  • Defensive Driving

  • Emergency Procedures and Evacuations

In addition to offering those training classes listed above, RTAP funds are available to provide scholarships to
attend conferences and other transit-related events. Scholarship applications are due at least 30 days prior to an
